murray kitchen

This home originally had a small L shape kitchen and dining area closed off from the rest of the living space. The client requested a large open kitchen with a generous island and plenty of storage. She also wanted to have a dining room table for hosting holiday dinners. The square footage of this modest bungalow did not allow for both of these functions side by side, so we combined them in one. We designed a custom quartz table with 4 legs that sits on top of the kitchen island cabinets. This allowed us to achieve the warmth and look of a dining table and still have appliances and drawers in the work zone of the kitchen.
